2001 Baseball Tournament

++++ Croydon Pirates win final, just, in a thriller! ++++

he  annual London Baseball Tournament took place on the July 14th and 15th at the Croydon Pirate's home ground of Roundshaw playing fields, Hannibal Way off Stafford Road (B271) Wallington, near Croydon, London. click here for location.

Each year teams from across the UK battle it out to win the London Tournament trophy and the Frank Brady league trophy.  Teams have also competed from Ireland and The Netherlands, and the Great Britain national team has also played at both senior and junior levels.

The tournament grows and grows each year as its repuation is enhanced, and this year's tournament was no exception, featuring the best teams in the country, making the tournament the showpiece of baseball in the UK.
